Boho Lighting
Texture First. Rules Second.
Our Boho edit mixes woven fibers, beaded strands, tassels, and relaxed metalwork for an easy, collected look. Think rattan and cane, linen diffusers, and warm finishes that feel lived-in yet polished.
What makes it “Boho”
- Materials: rattan/cane, seagrass, wood beads, rope, tassel/fringe accents, linen or opal glass.
- Finishes: warm/aged brass, matte black, bronze, soft nickel, matte white, natural wood tones.
- Forms: domes, drums, tiered beads, open-weave pendants, relaxed lanterns, artful sconces.
- Light quality: choose 2700–3000K and CRI 90+ to keep fabrics, woods, and skin tones true.
Where it shines
- Dining & Kitchen: woven or beaded pendants; linear options for longer tables and islands.
- Living & Bedroom: fabric-shade chandeliers, semi-flush for low ceilings, cozy wall lights for reading nooks.
- Bath & Vanity: linen/opal diffusion for flattering light (see Vanity Lighting).
- Outdoor: Boho-leaning silhouettes—choose damp/wet-rated where required.
Designer tip: Repeat one natural texture (rattan, wood bead, or linen) and one metal finish at least twice for cohesion—eclectic, not chaotic.
