Lamp, sconce, and pendant height isn't a fixed number — it's a proportion to the furniture underneath. A pilot post applying Golden's new furnishings-pairing rule set (provisional, pending Yuh-Mei's review).

Part of Golden's pilot furnishings-pairing series: a mirror above a console, and the sconces near it, should be centered on the furniture itself. One rulebase-cited standard (full-length mirrors need a light above them), one provisional convention flagged honestly as such.
