Returns and Exchanges

Overview
Golden Lighting is committed to providing you with high-quality returns, exchanges, and shipping for both direct-to-consumer and B2B customers.
1. Returns & Exchanges
1.1 Standard Return Policy (Consumers)
- You may return most standard (in-stock) lighting products within 30 days of delivery.
- Items must be uninstalled, unused, and in original packaging with all parts, accessories, and instructions.
- Returns require a valid Return Goods Authorization (RGA). Contact Customer Service at cs@goldenlighting.com to request an RGA.
1.2 Exchange Policy
- Exchanges follow the same process and timeframe as returns.
- A new order may be placed in parallel; we will waive restocking fees for exchanges if the original product is returned in original condition.
1.3 Tiered Return Eligibility by Product Type
- Quick Ship Upholstery / Made-to-Order: Must be returned within 7 days.
- Custom / Personalized Products: Final sale. Not eligible for return or exchange.
- Clearance / Closeout Items: Final sale. No returns accepted.
- Oversized Items: Surcharges apply when applicable.
2. Shipping & Handling
2.1 Shipping for Returns
Customers are responsible for shipping returned items back to our warehouse unless otherwise specified.
2.2 Shipping Charges
Return shipping charges may be deducted from the refund amount unless the return is due to an error on our part.
2.3 Geographic Limitations
Free shipping and freight-free allowances apply only to the contiguous U.S. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international orders will incur additional shipping charges.
2.4 Drop Ship Fee (B2B Only)
A $25 handling fee applies to orders shipped directly to consumer addresses at the dealer’s request.
3. Freight Delivery & Claims
3.1 Damage Upon Delivery
For freight deliveries: inspect the shipment and note any visible damage or missing cartons on the delivery receipt. Report concealed damage within 5 business days. Keep all packaging for inspection; we may request photos.
3.2 Claims Process
Contact Customer Service with your order number, description of damage, and supporting photos. If damage is confirmed, we will replace the item or part at no cost to you.
4. Additional Terms
- All returns must include the original proof of purchase.
- No credit will be issued for returns without an RGA.
- Golden Lighting reserves the right to deny returns or apply partial credit for improperly packaged, damaged, or used items.
